Veolia Transportation is North
America’s largest private transportation provider. We are also one
of the only companies to provide a complete range of transportation solutions;
from commuter bus to rail; from private hire to paratransit; from
bus-rapid-transit to shared ride transportation. We like to think we have a
solution for all transportation needs.
Being the largest is easy. Being the best take
more work. In September 2005, Connex North America acquired ATC to combine more
than 150 years of worldwide transportation experience.
Together
we strengthen ATC’s already established commitment to customer service, driver
training, safety and maintenance. Add Connex’s aim to bring to public
authorities innovative solutions to their transportation problems, thanks to
our experience developed around the world, and to our network of experts who
travel the world to share and spread best practices, and we believe that as
well as being the largest, we also stand out from the rest.
Whatever the size of the contract, we start with the basics. Motivate and
empower our employees. Get the maintenance right. Get the performance right.
And then we move on to more complex issues, like scheduling, marketing and
transport integration. Transport is the only thing we do for a living, and we
like to do it right. That’s probably why public authorities and private
