In addition to providing transportation to corporations, schools, universities and consumers, Golden Touch is proud to be the choice provider of service to many leading commercial airlines. We provide many types of specialized ground transportation services to over 67 major airlines, including American Airlines, Delta Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, US Airways, Swiss Air, Northwest Airlines, and Lufthansa Airlines. We provide most of the airline related ground transportation services at JFK, LaGuardia and Newark International airports, serving airline crews, ramp crews and passengers.
We safely transport over 1.4 million crewmembers and 3.5 million airline employees annually. We understand our airline customers’ concerns and needs and have developed many special services and programs to address them. For example, we transport flight crews to and from their hotels, meet and transport first-class passengers and take them to and from the airport, and help transport distressed passengers who are delayed when flights are cancelled. In emergencies, we often move several hundred stranded passengers at a time between terminals and back and forth to nearby hotels, and transport a large number of airline employees from various terminals to airport parking lots. We also transport airline passengers between aircrafts and terminals when runways are too remote for the airlines to use a passenger bridge.
Golden Touch maintains state-of-the art equipment for scheduling, tracking and transporting. Our central dispatch and control system was custom-designed to meet specific operational needs and those of the airline customer. It features an auditable system that tracks the entire operation from price quote to reservation to dispatching to customer billing and driver re-imbursement. And our fleet is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment, including our data dispatching system, flight tracking system, global positioning system (GPS), and Nextel mobile communication system.
Veolia Transportation purchased Golden Touch in 2008 and successfully integrated the shared ride services into its multi-faceted New York operation. Golden Touch and SuperShuttle now have combined resources to expand ground transportation services in the New York area.
