For our fixed route businesses, we have a proprietary suite of software for many crucial business functions, and we also have heavily customized key commercial software packages to meet our standards and needs.

Our proprietary suite is called Veolia Software Suite, and includes extensive software applications for dispatch, run cutting and scheduling, financial management, and time and attendance management. We provide our locations with strong time and attendance tools, and we can customize the software at each of our locations to address unique collective bargaining agreements. Further, our run cut and blocking tools are state-of-the-art. We continue to refine and enhance these tools because of their impact on labor and vehicle scheduling and costs. Overall, this software gives our managers the analytical and reporting tools to tightly manage labor, vehicle and fuel costs.

We have a dedicated software development and deployment team focused on optimizing the performance of the day-to-day operational software suite for fixed route services. Their philosophy is to stay very connected to the needs and issues of our locations and to use a rapid development and piloting process that enables us to more quickly implement software solutions.
